Yay, it's mushcrap time.
July 10th will be mine and
's 1st year anniversary. We're not married or anythin', just a whole year of going out. And I wanted to draw something extra special for her. So I PAINSTAKINGLY forced myself to draw two human figures. Look at this.
Nillia and I met 2 and a half years ago on furcadia, role playing Inuyasha and Kagome. She wasn't my rp Kagome at the time, and I wasn't her rp Inuyasha. But she thought I was good, and wanted to get to know me. And after a while I was getting to like her too. We had a few months of being rp buddies (and the best damn Inuyasha and Kagome on furc), and after a while, she wanted to meet me. We met at A-kon 14, and after that we called each other every day. She became my best friend, and one year ago on the 10th she became a little something more.
I know I usually represent the two of us as our furry selves, but for this occassion I wanted to draw us as we were when we first met...as our rp characters on furcadia, just lovin' Inuyasha.
Characters were drawn by hand and scanned. Coloring, shading, and the ENTIRE FREAKING BACKGROUND were done in photoshop elements, with a mouse. Booya. Did I mention this took forever?
Anyway...Nillia, thanks for the past 2 and a half years. I feel safe in saying I've never been happier. Thanks for being my very best friend first and most of all, and thanks for being my lovin' girlfriend too. Very soon those thousand miles seperating us will be gone, baby. Here's to all the other years to come. Aishiteru.

I haven't felt this happy about a gift since...well...since I saw the picture you did for our 6 month aniversary.
I'm really touched that you went to the trouble of trying to draw us like that, instead of your usual furries.
And boy...they look great. The lineart, the shading, the anatomy, expressions, poses, and even the background...all gorgeous!
I especially have to work extra hard on our picture now.
These have been the best 2.5 years of my life as well. First time I had somebody I could rely on...always. Aishiteru.
